Wizards, Shrunken Head Bob and Spidermen were out in force at trunk-or-treat at ConVal High School on Saturday. Costumed treat-seekers lined up and sampled offerings courtesy of area organizations as well as individuals who opened their hatchbacks to reveal their offerings.

“We’ve been pretty busy,” said Mandy Carter of The River Center in Peterborough. “The costumes are great. I love the creativity of the homemade ones.”

The Cornucopia Project served up healthy treats that were as popular as Kit Kats and Snickers.

“Trick-or-treaters are grabbing up our carrots and broccoli “ said Cornucopia’s Laura Morgan at their welcoming trunk. “It’s great because we work to create student farmers across the street.”

Terry and Arthur Roddy of New Ipswich with granddaughter Eloise, 6, of Peterborough had a line of masked treat seekers at their trunk.
