Two drivers were hospitalized after a T-bone crash on Route 202 Wednesday morning.

Emergency personnel responded to Route 202 and Forest Road in Hancock at 7:54 a.m. after a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Tristan Roberts, 22, of Ashdown, Arkansas struck a white 2017 Ford cargo van driven by Shane Norris, 33, of Hopkinton, according to Police Chief Tom Horne.

The pickup truck had been attempting to cross the highway from Forest Road when it collided with the side of the van, traveling southbound on Route 202. The truck sustained significant front end damage and came to a rest in the center of the eastbound lane on Forest Road, while the van overturned and came to a rest on the northbound shoulder of Route 202 with significant crush damage to its right side, Horne said.

Peterborough ambulance personnel took Roberts to Concord Hospital and Norris to Monadnock Community Hospital, and both vehicles were towed, he said. The crash is still under investigation, he said.
