Virgina Eskin to perform at Bass Hall in Peterborough

Pianist Virginia Eskin will return to Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center with violinist Marcia Lehninger and French horn player Peter Guidi for “A Bouquet of Romances” on Friday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at 19 Grove St., Peterborough.

The program includes Brahms’ “Horn Trio, Op. 40,” and works by Clara Schumann, Scriabin, Dvorak and Saint-Saëns. Tickets are $25, or $20 for Monadnock Center members, and can be purchased at monadnockcenter.org or by calling 603-924-3235.

Eskin is a pianist and advocate for works by women composers. Lehninger, a German-Brazilian violinist, performs with symphonies across New England and teaches at Trinity College. Guidi, a freelance horn player and educator, appears with several New England ensembles.

Bass Hall features a 1926 Model L Steinway.
