ConVal’s William Simard finished eighth in the boys’ Elite Mile at the New Hampshire Distance Festival with a personal-best time of 4:14.97.

ConVal’s William Simard finished eighth in the boys’ Elite Mile at the New Hampshire Distance Festival May 2 at Souhegan High School.

Competing against runners from around New England, Simard was the top New Hampshire finisher with a personal best time of 4 minutes, 14.97 seconds. Soheib Dissa of Connecticut won the race in a time of 4:10.43.
