Wilton Collaborative Space, located in the church hall of the 2nd Congregational Church, 25 Gregg St., will hold an open mic night Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

The event is free, and people can perform or watch the instrumental, song and spoken-word performances. Refreshments will be served. Sign up to perform by sending email to jennifero@wiltonlibrarynh.org.

On Friday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m., the Wilton Folk Cafe features the acoustic trio Speed the Plough, singers of sea shanties with songs played on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and whistle. The show is free, and reservations are suggested by sending email to jennifero@wiltonlibrarynh.org

The center will host a community harvest supper fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu includes garden salad, corn chowder, chicken and vegetarian galettes, roasted root vegetables, fruit crisp and apple cider. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors and children 12 and under. Advance ticket sales are required, and tickets are available at Gigi's Country Store, 10 Main St. in Wilton, and at Copper Kettle, 39 Main St. in Wilton.

Following the supper there is a free presentation, “S'hrooming with Joe and Stasia.” Their program will discuss frequently encountered local mushrooms and will cover nutritional and medicinal values, history and lore and their role in bioremediation, as well as personal anecdotes and references.
