Two hospitalized in Wilton crash

Wilton officers were dispatched to a crash that sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Route 101 and Island Street.

Police Chief Eric Olesen said police were dispatched to the scene around 6:27 p.m. He said a white Subaru driven by Sussy-Rose Shields, of Wilton, was making a left turn from Island Street onto Route 101 when the car collided with a black Honda SUV driven by a juvenile from Milford. 

Olesen said the crash remains under investigation.

Both of the drivers were transported to a hospital in Nashua. The vehicles were both towed from the scene.

Police left the scene around 7:43 p.m.
