The Wilton Lions Club is hosting a forum for Wilton candidates running for town and school board positions on Feb. 28.

The forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Town Hall courtroom. Residents are encouraged to send in written questions in advance to debdegan@tds.net.

There is only one contested position on the town ballot this year, for the position of treasurer. The one-year position for town treasurer will be a race between Gail Agans and Jessica Powers.

Other filed positions include incumbent Kermit Williams running for re-election to the Select Board, Karon S. Walker and Randy King running for two seats on the Planning Board, Lynne Stone for library trustee, Joanna Eckstrom for sewer commissioner, David Miller for trustee of the trust funds and Hal Mapes for water commissioner.

For the Wilton School Board seat, candidates Cynthia Diane Foss and Craig Alley are vying for the seat currently held by Jim Kofalt. Brianne Lavallee and Tatiana Franko will also be on the ballot for an at-large seat voted on by both Wilton and Lyndeborough.

For the School Budget Committee, Wilton candidates Leslie Browne and Michelle Alley are running uncontested, as is Bill Ryan for an at-large seat. Moderator Walter Holland is running for re-election and is uncontested.

Town and school district elections are March 14 at the Wilton Town Hall from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
