Letter: Thanks for supporting Run-Walk-Smile

This year’s 10th annual Monadnock Developmental Services Run-Walk-Smile had record-breaking attendance, as the community came together to ensure that adults with developmental disabilities get the critical dental care they need.

Our thanks go out to the record number of 292 participants, as well as our sponsors, volunteers, donors and staff for their support of this event. Dozens of area businesses and dentists played a key role as sponsors, and many also walked or ran in the event.

For the first time, we teamed up with the Flutie Foundation this year. The Flutie Foundation helped with all aspects of the race, increasing promotions and decreasing our overall costs. All of this ultimately brought in more donations which will allow us to meet the needs of more people. 

Thank you to the many people who help us with our ongoing efforts to provide better dental care and improved health outcomes for those with disabilities. Together we are making progress, and have been able to provide critical dental services for approximately 150 individuals over the past several years.
