Music on Norway Pond returns Saturday with an outdoor “Tanglewood-style” concert on the Hancock Common. The Grammy award-winning Parker Quartet will be joined by internationally renowned percussionist Ayano Kataoka in two programs on the same afternoon. The first will begin at 12:30 p.m. and feature music of Bach, Brahms, and Kitazume. After a 30-minute break, our guests will resume at 2:00 p.m. with music of Bartók, Beethoven, Druckman, and Smith.

The Hancock Common is just across the road from the beautiful white Hancock First Congregational Church. Masks are available and a $10 donation is suggested. Bring your chairs and picnics and remember to keep a safe distance from your fellow music-lovers. Volunteers will help with parking if needed and to help ensure social distancing.

For more information, visit www.musiconnorwaypond.org. Rain date is the following day, Sunday Sept. 27.
