What makes someone a hero? Are they brave, shrewd, strong, smart, plucky, clever, gutsy or even perspicacious? Join a group of travelers as they share their stories of heroes to pass the time on their pilgrimage to create change in the world. Along the journey you will discover new heroes from around the world and right in your neighborhood.

“At first, I didn’t know how to approach the theme of Legacy for this summer, so I thought about my own career path and the people who inspired me and helped me achieve what I have so far. Granny D of Dublin, N.H. seemed the perfect subject. She was one of my first directors in our church pageants and taught me to use my voice so people could hear me and understand what I was saying. Later, she taught me to use my voice to talk about what is important to me. I’m hoping this helps the next generation in the same way. I want to continue her legacy.”
