The Peterborough Town Library has a new display up for the month of September by local photographer Linda Greenwood. In this vein of her work, she mounts her photographs on discarded book covers, describing how she is “delighted to be give discarded books a ‘new life.’ ”

For this exhibit, Greenwood describes her process as “(creating) art by re-purposing hard cover books that I transform into “framed” art, highlighting my photographs. Images are mounted on covers with twine attached to the back, allowing the pieces to hang just like normally framed work.”

The exhibit will be up through the month of September and available to view during regular library hours.
