Friday, September 28, 2018 3:25PM

The 10th annual Fall Foliage Art Studio Tour will take place on Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 6,7 and 8, featuring over 25 of the Monadnock region’s finest artists and artisans.

The tour includes artists from Antrim, New Ipswich, Rindge, Fitzwilliam, Keene, Munsonville, Nelson and Swanzey.

Artists are selected by a committee to ensure a variety of excellent contemporary and traditional artists. “You’ll enjoy seeing new work by your favorite artists, and also discover great work by artists new to the tour – something for all our collectors and visitors,” says Chair Jim Murphy.

New artists by town are watercolor painter Jeani Eismont and abstract painter and potter Rosti Eismont of Swanzey; oil painter Sandra Gemmell and abstract painter Craig Stockwell of Keene; oil and pastel artist Sienna Giffin of Nelson; porcelain artist and printmaker Susan Silverman and flameware maker Terry Silverman of Fitzwilliam.

The 25 artists on the tour, as well as a number of guest artists, share 20 studios, showcasing both fine art and craft - oils, colored pencils, watercolors, pastels, drawing, encaustic, sculpture, woodturning, woodcarving, printmaking, basketry, pottery and glass.

Studios will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Brochures with map and directions are available at many locations throughout the Monadnock region. Information is also available on the tour’s website, www.fallfoliageartstudiotour.com.
