An exhibit titled “MINIS!!,” works of art in miniature by 12 area artists, will be on view at Fry Fine Art on Grove Street from Nov. 2, 2018 to Jan 6, 2019.

Just in time for the holiday gift-giving season, over 150 miniatures found throughout the main gallery space will invite visitors to take a closer look. “MINIS!!” exhibiting artists (all of whom work and live in New Hampshire, many in the Monadnock region) include Phil Bean, Laura Blackmer, EvelienBachrach, Mary Ann Sullivan, Linda Dessaint, Nancy Chabot, Carmen Verde, Maryann Mullett, Chris Reid, Lynn Heckathorn, Jennifer McCalmont, and John Sirois.

The works of Gary Shepard’s will be also be featured in Fry Fine Art’s Pelletier Studio. Shepard, a Peterborough resident, is an award-winning self-taught artist whose “impressionistic realistic” paintings range from landscapes, street scenes, and figures, to still lifes. Through his works, he aims to convey a message of peace and tranquility.

An opening reception will be held at the gallery on Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m.
