Symphony NH presents “The Music of John Williams” led by guest conductor Thomas Heuser on Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Keefe Center for the Arts, 117 Elm Street, Nashua, and Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Concord City Auditorium, 2 Prince Street, Concord.

John Williams is the most iconic composer in the history of film. Williams’ scores were written for the biggest blockbusters, including “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter,” “Indiana Jones,” “Jurassic Park,” “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” “Schindler’s List,” “Lincoln,” “Jaws” and more. Williams’ scores have won 24 Grammy Awards, seven British Academy Film Awards, five Academy Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards.

Recognized for his stirring leadership and energetic presence, Thomas Heuser has performed all the way from San Francisco to Munich. Currently the music director of the Idaho Falls and San Juan Symphony Orchestras, Heuser has spent three seasons as the principal guest conductor of the San Juan Academy Orchestra. Heuser has appeared as guest conductor with orchestras across the nation and in Canada, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Estonia.
