On Aug. 2 at 4 p.m., Adam Arnone will lead a songwriting experience for teens, ages 10-18. A program for aspiring storytellers, rappers, singers, poets, and musicians, participants will learn to create their own original music using Logic and get a copy of their creation to take home! No musical experience of any kind of needed-just show up willing to dive deep into the process.

Arnone believes that “too often people don’t think they have what it takes to make art, but we’re all artists and we all have something to say” and hopes this workshop will help teens discover their own inner artist and bring home their creation to share with the world.

Arnone is a professional rapper/singer with over 15 years of experience touring nationally and recording music. Now part of Arnone and the Flood, he’s previously released eleven albums under the stage name Adeem (A-D-M) and with his former group Glue.

A Keene, native, Arnone spent his childhood learning everything he could about music and Hip Hop and managed to turn that love into a career. Adam currently lives in Peterborough with his wife and two kids.

The event is free thanks to the sponsorship of the Friends of the Peterborough Town Library. Due to limited program size, participants must be registered to attend. Sign up at the Help Desk or call 924-8040 to register.
