The New Hampshire State Vaccination Van will be at J. A. Tarbell Library, 136 Forest Road (Route 31) in Lyndeborough Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All three vaccines will be available for first, second or booster shots. The vaccine is free and available to anyone 12 and over. For people getting their first shots, the van will return in December. To be eligible for the booster, people must have been fully vaccinated prior to May 10 and should bring their COVID vaccination cards. One does not need to live in New Hampshire to receive the vaccine.
Registration is not required but requested to help plan. Send email to Regina Conrad at jatlprograms@gmail.com with name, phone number (home and/or cell) email address. Minors need to have a guardian named and with them at the van. People can also stop by the library or call 603-654-6790 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday 5 to 7 p.m. The library is closed Friday and Sunday.
The library is working on the logistics of appointments, but people may request a time on their registration and the library will do its best to accommodate them. The library website is jatarbelllibrary.org. For vaccination questions, go to vaccines.nh.gov. Vaccines for children over age 5 may be available by Nov. 13.
The library will be open as usual during the clinic. Lyndeborough residents can get their library card. The Basement Book Store will be open with a "buy the bag" special. Masks are needed in the building and will be available.
