Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St., will wrap up its winter series, “Naturally NH, Conversations about wildlife and landscape,” with bear biologist Dan Bailey from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Thursday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m.

Bailey will speak on the state’s bear project, which works to promote positive coexistence with bears and humans. Bailey, an expert on black bears, will talk about management practices, hunting and other proactive approaches to mitigating human-bear conflict.

Black bears are just waking up and becoming active in New Hampshire. It is recommended bird feeders come down by April 1.
