JAFFREYFarmer makes grade for CFRE

CFRE International has recently named Patricia “Patty” Farmer of Jaffrey, NH as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Ms. Farmer, who is the Campaign Manager for the Keene Public Library “Next Chapter” Capital Campaign joins 24 other distinguished CFRE’s in NH and over 5,500 professionals around the world-wide. Ms. Farmer also held the designation from 2005-2011, while Director of Development and Community Relations at Cedarcrest Center for Children and as Director of Alumni and Parent Relations at Keene State College.

Mrs. Farmer and individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, demonstrated fundraising achievement and a commitment to service to not-for- profit organizations. They have also passed a rigorous written examination testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive, and have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.

Ms. Farmer has an MBA from Plymouth State University and a B.S. from Keene State College. She is an active member of the community serving as Club Service Chair for the Keene Elm City Rotary Club and as an alternate on the Jaffrey Planning Board.
