The Peterborough Rotary Club will host a fundraiser for ConVal Quest Camp on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Sargent Center in Hancock.

“Celebrating and Supporting ConVal Quest Camp - a Night of Dinner & Dancing” will feature signature dishes from local eateries and a live jazz ensemble featuring the Mike Wakefield Quartet.

The Waterhouse, Hancock Inn and Fox Tavern, DelRossi’s Trattoria, Yen Yen, Harlow’s, The Cooper Public House, Sunflowers, Roy’s Market Catering and Kimball Farms will provide gourmet dishes for the event. ConVal Quest is also sponsored by N.H. Charitable Foundation, N.H. Ball Bearings, Monadnock Paper Mills, Lake Sunapee Bank, Vose Farm Road, Bellows Nichols Insurance, and Life Safety Fire Prevention.

Quest is a free summer camp and school for 75 middle school students who would otherwise be unlikely to attend a private camp. Quest is held at Nature’s Classroom at Sargent Center in Hancock. It allows students not to fall victim to the “summer slide.”

Tickets are $50 per person and can be ordered on line at peterbororotary.org or by mailing a check to PO Box 345, Peterborough, N.H.
