The spring bird migration begins in March as waterfowl move north through the state, with 36 species of ducks, geese, and swans recorded on the Connecticut River from Hinsdale to Charlestown. Participants will caravan to the best birding spots, with a little easy walking as needed, in hopes of seeing the spectacle. Wear mud boots, and bring binoculars and lunch.

The safari will be held on Sunday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., leaving from Keene. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited to nine participants, and registration is required. All participants will be expected to follow the Harris Center’s COVID-19 outing guidelines. For more information or to register, please contact Eric at masterson@harriscenter.org.
