Rindge Co-op vs. Colonial Green

To the editor:

As the previous owner of the land in question, I wish to voice my concerns. On three of four different occasions, I offered this piece of land to the Co-op Trailer Park. They responded each time ‘we are not interested.’ Now that someone else owns it and are establishing their business there, they are interested! All Rindge and state of New Hampshire regulations have been met so let’s move on. Concerning their water well for the 75 mobile homes in the park, they all have their oil tanks outside. Many are probably over the 40 year limit of tank expectancy and leak. May I suggest that they take care of their immediate concerns in their own park and prevent that from future contaminating of their well.

In my opinion, it’s time to leave the new business alone. Again he met all of the regulations required, didn’t he. Enough is enough.

It’s now time to stop all of this foolishness and let this new business move forward and get on the town tax list.
