Hamilton won’t throw away his shot

To the editor:

Dear Peterborough Friends,I am excited and proud to throw my hat in the ring and officially announce my candidacy for the New Hampshire House of Representatives – District #24 – Peterborough! After much consideration, I filed my candidacy papers Thursday June 14th.Since moving to New Hampshire from Rhode Island five years ago I have been actively involved in the fabric of our community. I work locally, at People’s United Bank as a Vice President and Branch Manager of the Peterborough branch. Currently I am serving as Chair of the Peterborough Economic Development Authority. I have a dual understanding of the challenges of small businesses as a banker and because my husband Josh is growing his business here.

In addition I’ve had the honor of serving with many of you on various boards such as; advisory boards for The River Center, ConVal VPAC and the Monadnock Center for History and Culture.

The obvious issues plaguing our state are the affordability of homes and property taxes for families and retirees, the opioid epidemic, our aging infrastructure, and the retention and attraction of our young folks. I want to know what's important to you. I am here to listen and learn what we should focus on at the state level. Contact me at adam24hamilton@gmail.com.Thank you to many of you who have already shown your support by offering to host house parties and donate to my campaign efforts. For more information about how you can help; please email me!

If this appeals to you, I ask for your vote in the Democratic primary, Sept. 11.

Adam R. Hamilton

Candidate for NH House of
Representatives District 24 -
