Solar Sprint a huge success

To the editor:

On June 4, students from six local schools gathered at Adams Playground in Peterborough to participate in the 2019 Solar Sprint, a racing competition for model solar-powered cars designed and built by the students.

The Harris Center for Conservation Education, which organizes this annual event, would like to publicly thank the following organizations and people for making the Solar Sprint possible: the participating schools (Great Brook School, Jaffrey Grade School, Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School, Keene Middle School, Saint Joseph Regional School, and South Meadow School), the Peterborough Recreation Department, all the volunteers, coaches, students and their families, and the greater Monadnock community.

We greatly appreciate your continued support of this event!
