Many helped support Lyceum

The Monadnock Summer Lyceum would like to recognize the many individuals, organizations and businesses who helped fulfill our mission “to inform, engage and inspire” this year.

About 1,500 people attended our eight free Sunday morning programs this summer. A special thank you to those who generously sponsored one of our speakers: Achille Agway, The Verney Foundation, Monadnock Community Hospital, The Putnam Foundation, The Reading Foundation, NH Alliance on Aging/Endowment for Health and Peterborough Folk Music.

Attendees were able to engage in conversation following the program over refreshments provided by Nature’s Green Grocer, Scott-Farrar , Cooper’s Hill Public House, the Hancock Inn & Hancock Market, Harlow’s, Summerhill Assisted Living and the Bagel Mill. Fresh flowers decorated our podium thanks to Achille Agway, Summerhill Assisted Living, Coll’s Garden Center, Roger Swain, Trim Hahn, Laura Trowbridge, Farmer John’s Plot and East View Flowers.

We appreciate the ongoing support of the Toadstool Bookstore, which contributes to our programs every year. Most of all we want to thank those who attend our programs and continue to be the reason for the combined efforts of our committee and our many contributors. Work has begun on our 2018 season. We look forward to seeing you next summer.
