We should take this opportunity to recognize the eclipse for what it was – a reminder that no matter what our differences may be, we're all just a bunch of awkward primates doing our best to eke out an existence on this big blue marble hurtling through space, with very little of our destiny under our control, unless you're Elon Musk, in which case you could just blast off and live on the moon.
