The Contoocook Valley Chain Gang youth cycling team is getting ready for its seventh season with New England Youth Cycling.

An informational night is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 30, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Peterborough Library Eben Jones Classroom, 2 Concord St. in Peterborough.

This team offers a gateway into the world of mountain bike riding and racing for boys and girls grades five to 12 that reside in the river valley, ranging to south around New Ipswich and as far north as Stoddard. Zach Allen is the head coach. The team is not affiliated with the ConVal School District.
