Letter: Elect Ward for another term

I am writing to urge Peterborough residents to vote for Tyler Ward as he runs for another term as selectman.

Ward has doggedly pursued the town's sustainability initiatives, and subsequently we have received an EPA Green Power Leadership award, and the SolSmart Gold certification. We installed what was at the time the state's largest solar facility. These initiatives have not only been good for the environment, they are saving us money.

Under Ward's tenure, the Main Street Bridge has been replaced and 80 percent of the cost was federally funded. The new parking lot was built and EV chargers added. Ward has been involved with the Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Heritage Commission, Agricultural Commission, Master Plan Steering Committee and West Peterborough TIF District, and was the creator of the Recycling Center Advisory Committee.

Tyler Ward loves our town and has worked hard to keep Peterborough "a good town to live in." I urge you to vote on May 9 and to give Tyler Ward your support.
