Letter: Primrose for Planning Board

There is a man running for planning board in Dublin, Don Primrose, who many in town may not have an the opportunity to meet as he is a relative newcomer.

I have had the pleasure of conversing with him about a wide rage of topics and have always found him knowledgeable and enlightening, but yet also a good listener. While currently an alternate on the Planning Board, Primose has my vote for one of the two open seats.

Primrose has an impressive background. He grew up in the Monadnock region and became a builder. He has built hundreds of homes both in this area and out west. He thus knows about construction, proper land use and soils – all helpful knowledge to have when serving on the Planning Board.

Primrose particularly cares about housing for everyone, especially those less well-off. In fact, years ago he was driven by the plight of the homeless and became instrumental in founding The Hundred Nights Shelter in Keene. If we want to keep our elementary school in town, we must have more homes for the young families seeking to move into our beautiful village.

Primose will be an advocate for more affordable housing in Dublin while protecting our valuable natural resources. Please join me in voting for Don Primose to be a member of the Planning Board in Dublin.
