Jaffrey Woman’s Club hosting fundraising party

Jaffrey Woman’s Club will hold Create & Sip fundraiser Thursday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cutler Memorial Building, 33 Main St.

At this fundraiser, participants will paint a decorative quilt square known as a barn quilt. While historically, barn quilts are hung on the outside of buildings and can be spotted from afar, this quilt will be 10-inch square to be hung indoors. The event is open to the public, and the fee of $27 covers refreshments and all supplies, including a template for the quilt. People can also create their own designs.

Purchase tickets at jaffreywomansclub.org/events/create-sip-art-party-paint-a-barn-quilt.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the club further its mission of community support programs, along with continued preservation of the historic Cutler Building. For information, connect with the club on Facebook, online at jaffreywomansclub.org or by email at jaffreywomansclub@gmail.com.
