Peterborough First Friday is April 5

First Friday in Peterborough will be Friday, April 5, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Activities include a fifth-year celebration at Dogs on Depot in Depot Square,  Starting at 5:30 p.m., people and their dogs can take part in activities that include a “yappy hour,” a doggie kissing booth and drop-in nail clipping.

New owner Crystal Carter will offer new merchandise at Gaia’s Blessing on Summer Street.

At 7:30 p.m., MacDowell Downtown at Bass Hall on Grove Street features artist-in-residence Courtney Stephens, a writer/director of non-fiction and experimental films. She will show and comment on several past films as well as two new projects she's working on at MacDowell in her second residency. Doors open at 7 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.   

PREP (Peterborough Renewable Energy Project) will be set up in front of the park next to the Town House with information on options that are available and how to take advantage of what the region has to offer. Town Planner Danica Melone will be on the front steps of the Town House to answer questions about the proposed new fire and rescue station.  There will be children’s activities, as well.
