On Friday, March 22, the Monadnock Conservancy invites the public to “Stories About This Place” at the Peterborough Town House, 1 Grove St. in Peterborough. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the program will run from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The event is free, in-person, and open to the public.

Now in its 10th year, “Stories About This Place” spotlights local luminaries, who will share personal stories about living and working in the Monadnock region. This year’s storytellers include Rebecca Rule (author and NHPBS host), Ernest Hebert (author) and music by composer and pianist Ben Cosgrove. More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

“This year we are so excited to be joined by Rebecca Rule and Ernest Hebert, both of whom are expert storytellers. We are also pleased that composer Ben Cosgrove will return to provide the night with stirring piano music. And we are working on rounding out the program with some younger voices, so stay tuned for more announcements,” stated  Martin Royle, communications and marketing director of the Monadnock Conservancy

The event is free to attend,, and attendees should register at eventbrite.com/e/stories-about-this-place-2024-tickets-832133582947?aff=oddtdtcreator.
