Francestown backyard composting presentation is June 7

Ron Trexler, a master gardener from UNH Extension, will give a presentation on backyard composting Wednesday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Francestown Town Hall, 27 Main St.

Attendees can learn about organisms that make compost happen, why people should compost what materials are required to get started. People who are already composting can learn new tips and tricks. People will also learn to resolve any issues that might arise.

Compost bins and buckets will be available for purchase. The event is sponsored by the Francestown Conservation Commission, Francestown Waste Disposal Committee  and the Francestown Garden Coop. It is free and open to the public.
