I think about the challenges of our ConVal school district and our local employers, and perhaps now is the time to consolidate our elementary schools and turn the vacant buildings into apartments and/or condos – affordable apartments and condos that would in turn help our local employers and our local economy.

Currently, employers are making offers to prospective employees that are being turned down because they cannot find a place to live. It would certainly be proactive. Think about it.
