The fifth and final race in the Monadnock Regional Milers Winter Chiller series wrapped up with a 4.7-mile jaunt starting and finishing at BeFit fitness center in New Ipswich March 9. 

Winning on the hilly loop course was Mascenic alum Avery Traffie with a time of 29 minutes, 15 seconds. The women’s winner was Erin O'Shea, finishing in 33:41, fifth overall out of the 47 finishers.

Next up for the club is its quarterly education series April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Elevation PT in Peterborough. The topic of this talk will be demystifying speedwork, leading up to the beginning of Wednesday night track workouts at ConVal. While open to club members, others interested in attending can contact Elevation PT for options to attend.
