Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St. will host a workshop on torn-paper collages Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Harrisville artist Amy Stodola will teach a simple technique for creating art pieces from available materials, including pieces of paper torn from magazines. Stodola has been doing arts and crafts for as long as she can remember, including watercolor and oil painting and fabric arts. She got hooked on doing torn-paper collage during the pandemic.

All materials will be provided, but participants should bring a magazine or two to use as well. Space will be limited to 12 people, so participants are asked to register at 603-525-4411 or by sending email to the library at hancocklibrary@comcast.net with “collage” in the subject line. The workshop is free and open to all.
