Saturday, March 9
Services rendered: At 11 p.m. while on patrol, police found an open door at the town offices building. Police proceeded to check the building and, finding nothing out of the ordinary, secured the building.
Tuesday, March 12
Unwanted subject: At 8:26 a.m., an officer was called to Francestown Elementary School after receiving a call about an unwanted visitor. The visitor was there reportedly to lodge a complaint about a Town Meeting posting. The visitor was given information about where to properly make a complaint and was asked to leave.
Services rendered: At 10:55 a.m., an officer was called to the town offices building regarding an upset voter at the polling place. The person was reportedly upset after his voter eligibility was challenged. After police arrived, the person conducted his voting business and left.
Friday, March 16
Motor vehicle crash: At 9:45 p.m., police responded to a call for a single-car motor vehicle crash on Bennington Road. Christopher Hardwick, 19, of Francestown told police he lost control of his 1988 Jeep Wrangler and hit a snowbank. The car then rolled onto its side. No injuries were reported, and help was called to upright and remove the car from the snowbank.
