Spring festival in Rindge Saturday will benefit clubs
Conant High School’s Interact Club, a high school extension of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club, will host a spring festival on the Rindge Common on Saturday to benefit local school clubs.
The festival is open to the public and admission is free, though participants must pay for games and food.
The festival is slated to include traditional games like dunk tank, pie-the-teacher and ring toss, as well as face painting, a mini flea market and local craft fair. Carnival-style food, including homemade ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, hamburgers and hot dogs, will be available for purchase, according to David Dustin, Interact Club advisor and Conant social studies teacher.
There will also be a Rotary chili cook-off judged by participants.
The festival will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. The rain date for the festival is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
