The ConVal School District announced COVID-19 cases at Pierce School and Great Brook School on Wednesday. “We are very fortunate that very few people were exposed, and we will be able to continue our present programming...Those families and staff who have been exposed will be directed to get tested and keep their children, or themselves, quarantined for 14 days following their last possible exposure,” Superintendent Kimberly Rizzo Saunders wrote to community members.

She said they’re collaborating with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to provide contact information for anyone who had been within six feet of the infected person for 10 minutes or more, beginning two days prior to the first illness onset or a positive COVID-19 test, whichever one came first.

The District’s COVID-19 threat level is currently at orange, which indicates substantial controlled community transmission. Most ConVal students are attending remotely through at least Jan. 19.
