On Saturday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 10 p.m., the Francestown Recreation Department is hosting a family friendly community Halloween dance at Town Hall, 27 Main St.

Admission is $10 per adult, with children under the age of 18 admitted free. Refreshments of popcorn, nonalcoholic punch and bottled water will be offered. There will be a costume contest with cash prizes and dancing to the tunes of local band So Off Your Rockers.
