On Friday, Jaffrey Grade School classes traveled to the Jaffrey Public Library to explore the Curiosity Cube, an interactive mobile science lab put together by Jaffrey manufacturer MilliporeSigma.

MilliporeSigma’s Curiosity Cube is a 22- by 10-foot, retrofitted shipping container featuring interactive, hands-on science experiments led by local MilliporeSigma employees. This year’s theme is the microbiome, which is the collection microbes such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and their genes that naturally live in and on people’s bodies.

Children from the public who are interested in visiting the Curiosity Cube may do so Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
