Inspired by the enthusiasm of recent grassroots organizing, Live Free And Thrive is a blues and rock music festival being hosted at the Granite Gorge Ski Area on Sunday, May 15, to entertain, engage and encourage active citizenship for the people of New Hampshire.

The goal is to bring people together from various corners of the community, including small local businesses, nonprofits, artists and families for this music event for all age groups to help support a healthy, thriving, diverse culture in our beautiful state.

The hosts and organizers of the event are all passionate volunteers. Proceeds from this event will be generously donated back to the community through the nonprofits involved in the event. Many regional bands will be performing such as Otis and the Elevators, Mr. Nick and the Dirty Tricks, The Barrett Anderson Band, BandBand, and more, as well as a variety of speakers lined up between set changes to help ignite healthy civil discourse throughout the event.

The gates will open at 10 a.m. with festivities planned between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The rain date is May 22.

Admission is $15 the day of the festival, and $10 plus fees if purchased in advance through Eventbrite.

Children under 12 will be admitted for free and there will be a booth with activities for kids. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Alcohol will be allowed only in the lodge and designated areas with valid ID. No outside alcohol will be allowed inside per state regulations. No coolers will be allowed. For safety reasons, only certified service dogs will be allowed on the premises. All other dogs must be left at home.
