New Year’s labyrinth tradition continues in Peterborough

The community is invited to celebrate the New Year with a walk into the Peterborough Labyrinth.

The replica of the Notre Dame de Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in Chartres, France, is planned to be recreated for just two days in the upper hall of the Peterborough Town House.

The 20 year tradition is to begin on Monday, Dec. 31, when it will be open to the public to walk from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The labyrinth is to reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 1, when it is planned to be open from 8 a .m. to 5 p.m.

To watch volunteers create the labyrinth, the public is welcome to observe on Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
