Savings Bank of Walpole has announced that Roy Graves has joined the residential lending team as a mortgage loan originator.
Graves will be based in Rindge, where SBW’s seventh community branch is slated to open early next year. In this role, Graves will work closely with Ben Wheeler, SBW’s senior vice president for commercial lending, developing and implementing the bank’s strategic vision of expanding its role as the Monadnock region’s local bank.
Graves has more than 20 years of community banking experience, starting his banking career as a part-time teller. Through the years, he advanced to customer service roles, branch management and consumer and mortgage lending.
“We are honored to have Roy join the Savings Bank of Walpole lending team,” stated Christine Greenwood-Smart, vice president and residential mortgage sales manager. “In addition to his extensive mortgage knowledge, Roy’s longtime experience working as a community banker will be instrumental in helping SBW grow our residential lending products and services in the Rindge area.”
Originally from Winchendon, Mass., Graves now lives in Fitzwilliam with his wife Veronica and their six daughters.
