Once again, Trumpet Fine Arts Gallery is providing an unforgettable First Friday mix on Aug. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. of fine art and exceptional music – this time with the work of 14 New Hampshire artists providing the backdrop for Decatur Creek, one of New Hampshire’s most versatile and best-loved bands.

“Our roots-influenced originals and uniquely arranged covers will bring a smile to your face and rhythm to your feet,” said Decatur Creek guitarist Jack Henry, who along with musicians Doug Farrell, Steve Dionne, and Beth Eldridge make up Decatur Creek. “Whether we’re performing as a duo, group or full band, we put on a show you’ll never want to end.”

“Great music is great art,” said artist Mona Adisa Brooks, who is also Trumpet’s owner and teacher-in-residence. “And while we can’t put Decatur Creek up on our walls, we’re pleased to have them exhibit their incredible talents right here in the gallery for one very special evening.”
