Horszowski Trio videocast Sunday

Electric Earth Concerts will continue its series of videocasts with the Horszowski Trio via videocast at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, to be followed by a post-concert Zoom reception. Links to both the concert and reception will be available at www.electricearthconcerts.org.

Giving performances that are “lithe, persuasive” (The New York Times), “eloquent and enthralling” (The Boston Globe), and described as “the most compelling American group to come on the scene” (The New Yorker), the Horszowski Trio has quickly become a vital force in the international chamber music world. Since their debut performance in New York City in 2011, they have toured extensively throughout North America, Europe, the Far East, and India, traversing the extensive oeuvre of traditional piano trio repertoire and introducing audiences to new music that they have commissioned and premiered.

This program includes: Mozart’s Piano Trio in B-flat Major, K.502 and Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio #2 in c minor, Op. 66.

The Horszowski Trio welcomes cellist and longtime friend Ole Akahoshi, who replaces founding cellist Raman Ramakrishnan, who was with the group for nine years. Hear them playing at: https://www.horszowskitrio.com/listen-watch.

EEC is truly grateful for the generosity our audience has shown during the spring and& summer. As always, you can help the organization  and its musicians by making a donation at https://electricearthconcerts.org/support/.

Previous videocasts are available on Electric Earth’s YouTube channel indefinitely. Instructions on how to access these performance are on their website.
