MoCo Arts elementary school musical, “Compose Yourself,” will be taking place in The Founder’s Theatre at MoCo Arts, 40 Roxbury Street in Keene on Sunday, April 7 with performances at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Join the fun as a group of kids meet some of the great composers of the past in this 40-minute musical for young performers.

“Getting ready for this show has been really fun. There are a lot of people that I know in the cast, and it’s great to be able to perform with them,” said Alexis Harvey, a fifth grader from Keene who is playing the part of Handel in the show. “Plus, Handel’s work is pretty interesting!”

The show focuses on the importance of music in our lives and highlights the historical significance of some of the world’s best composers and how they’ve influenced the music we listen to today. The show is ideal for families to attend with children.

MoCo Arts Elementary School Musical, “Compose Yourself” is sponsored in part by Ann Henderson Interiors, and will be performed by MoCo Arts students in 2nd through 5th grade.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and are available now at MoCo Arts, 40 Roxbury Street in Keene, or by calling (603) 357-2100.
