The Peterborough Rotary Club is pleased to announce the second Cruz-In event of the seventh season on Sunday, June 17. The May first Cruz-In was unfortunately rained out. Please note that the Peterborough Rotary Club Cruz-In has maintained the event date to the third Sunday of the month, the same as last year.

The event will be held in Depot Square, downtown Peterborough, from 9:00 to 12:00 noon. It is open to all makes and models of vintage or special interest cars, trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles. The event is free to attendees and all are welcome - there is no fee to display a vehicle.

At this Cruz-In, the Rotary is encouraging all roadsters and sports cars, convertibles or cabriolets to show up. Horse-drawn cabriolets are not required to have a horse, but extra points will be awarded if the horse comes with it. Pre-1970 vehicles will get special attention. So bring your Jaguar XJS, Lotus Esprits, Ford GTs, Bugatti Type 57’s, Noble M12 M400’s, Dodge Vipers, Mercedes-Benz 540K’s, Ford Boss 302 Mustangs, Volvo P1800’s, and Volkswagen Karmann Ghias to our event Sunday.

Participating Cruzers, who drive in an antique or special interest vehicle, will get a chance at a $25 door prize gift certificate from Kimball’s Restaurant in Jaffrey - drawing to be held at 11:00 am.

There will be a 50/50 raffle where the winner gets 50% of the proceeds and the rest goes to the Rotary Club for distribution to local charities.  The winning ticket will be drawn at 10:30 and the winner must be present.

The antiques market area will again be offered.  Spaces are $20 for 20 x 20 foot area.

For other information about the Cruz-in event and antiques market, call John Kaufhold at 603-801-8364.

The Cruz-In takes place third Sunday of each summer month in Depot Square Downtown Peterborough from 9 to 12.
