Keene Community Kitchen plans meal

The Community Kitchen’s culinary staff is again planning an upscale meal featuring locally sourced ingredients for the second annual Local Harvest Dinner on Saturday, August 27 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The dinner and cocktail reception will raise funds for essential Community Kitchen programs and services. This fun, relaxing evening will highlight food from a variety of Cheshire County farms, along with local wine and beer pairings.

This year’s event will be held at Camp Glen Brook in Marlboro. The evening will also feature live music, and a short documentary highlighting The Community Kitchen’s Gleaning Project and Pantry and Hot Meals programs.

The programs provide a critical source of nutritious food for Monadnock region residents who struggle to feed themselves and their families.
