Peterborough Town Library schedules vacation week programs

Wildlife Encounters will headline the Peterborough Town Library's school vacation week program offerings Monday, April 22, at 11 a.m.

Wildlife Encounters Ecology and Wellness Center will bring seven live animals to the library and share with the audience information about the animals' natural habitats and environmental niches. This program is for all ages, and doors to the 1833 Room will open at 10:55 a.m. No reservations are required. This presentation is sponsored by Friends of the Peterborough Town Library.

On Tuesday, April 23, at 10:30 a.m., The River Center presents “Safe @ Home” by Safe Sitter. This is a 90-minute program designed to prepare students in fourth to sixth grade to be safe when they're home alone. This program is supported by the Friends of the Peterborough Town Library and registration is required. Register through the link on the peterboroughtownlibrary.org website.

Wednesday, April 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. is LEGO Drop-In! Participants can drop in and build at the library.

“Pizza No Pages! Not A Book Club for Middle Schoolers” meets Thursday, April 25, from 3:45 to 5 p.m. Youths can hang out, eat pizza (or something) and do an activity (or something).

On Friday, April 26, the Friday Family Movie on the big screen in the library's 1833 Room will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

Everyone is welcome at all programs, and all library events are free and open to the public.

Peterborough Town Library is at 2 Concord St. in Peterborough.
