Gospel concert to benefit River Center
Gospel musicians The Bullock Brothers and Sons will return Saturday at 7 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Church.
The Bullock Brothers and Sons performed in December 2012 for an audience at the Mariposa Museum.
The Bullock Brothers have been singing together for more than 60 years, performing classic and original gospel music across New England. The Sons, composed of the sons of the original Bullock Brothers, have been together since 1967, continuing the legacy of gospel music and adding jazz and a cappella vocal elements to the mix. Together, the Boston-based groups perform a broad range of spirited gospel music across New England, in venues ranging from churches to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
The concert will benefit the River Center, a family and community resource center providing support and economic opportunity programs and services in the eastern Monadnock region.
Tickets are $10 and are available at the Toadstool Bookshop or by calling the church office at 924-6438.
